Beit Avi Chai

Beit Avi Chai was established by the Avi Chai Foundation, and it is one of Jerusalem'a prominent cultural institutions, aiming to bring into co-existence the diverse voices in the Jewish Israeli public, and to raise the awareness to these various cultural and social voices, resounding within the Israeli Society.

Beit Avi Chai is located at the heart of Jerusalem's downtown area, on King George street, one of Jerusalem's most cardinal locations, an intersection of different communities, cultures and neighborhoods, surrounded by veteran Jerusalem establishments such as the main building of the Jewish Agency, The Great Synagogue and the Prime Minister's Official Residency.

Beit Avi Chai hosts various events and activities every week: plays, music and dance performances, cultural performances, lectures and seminars, workshops and more, in order to create a stimulating and challenging encounter between the diverse Jewish-Israeli populations that define the Israeli society.

Beit Avi Chai connects between artists, thinkers, and everyone who has something to contribute to the vivid Israeli-Jewish life of Jerusalem.
