Led and managed by Chef Assaf Granit, the restaurant MachneYehuda assumed its name from the famous Jerusalem Market, and much like the famous market, it too has turned into a culinary success story of its own, attracting more and more locals, and visitors from around the world.

Granit has won some of his fame while participating in the Israeli reality-show “knife-fight”. In his endeavors to form a successful restaurant he joined forced with Chef Yossi Elad, who specializes in pastries and baking, and Chef Ori Navon.

The restaurant uses the finest ingredients, all freshly bought from the adjacent Machane Yehuda market, and the offered dishes on the menu are rich and varied, starring authentic Jerusalem flavors.

The dishes will keep surprising you every time you visit, among which you will find courses such as risotto with mushrooms and truffle oil, polenta, sashimi and many more.

The design is warm and welcoming, and there are plenty of comfortable tables. Customers may choose to sit on the bar, where they will be able to see the Chefs cooking busily, or at one of the wooden tables scattered around the restaurant. There are also sitting places available on the second floor.
