The historical Jerusalem Artists House has long since become synonymous with Mona, a Jerusalem institution of food that draws a diverse crowd: Jerusalemites, tourists, and culinary enthusiasts from all over the country. Though Mona has been through many changes, it has maintained it’s high quality, and remained rock-solid and stable and in the Jerusalem culinary scene. Chefs Itamar Navon and Moshiko Gamlieli took the restaurant one step further and created a menu based on creative personal interpretations of famous dishes, starting with sashimi and tartar through to chocolate and fruit desserts.
The structure was the first home of the Bezalel School of the Arts, founded by Boris Schatz, and the atmosphere exudes culinary creativity that transcends the boundaries of taste.
